Default Roll cage rules....

Can a roll cage be bolted together or does NHRA/IHRA rules require it to be fully welded?(10.0s-11.49s) What do the rules state? Thanks in advance.

I've got the 2002 rulebook in word format. I can send you the rollbar/cage sections if you would like to read them in detail. Keep in mind the 2003 rulebook is out but I hadn't had time to get it on the computer or even read to see if there are any changes.

Drop me an e-mail if you need the roll cage section.

5-pts are legal right? I have the book too, and it shows a 5-pt but it doesnt give any info about it being legal, and for what ET's. Just figured one less swingout bar to buy and maybe the 5-pt would be a little cheaper than a 6-pt. Any info would be helpfull.

Thanks!

If you could send the rules it would be great. I am more concerned with if the cage can be a combo of welded/bolted or is a welded only cage legal?
