Default just installed SSF 3500. WOW!!!

after much research on this site I decided to buy a SSF3500 converter. All i can say is I wish i would have done this sooner. I love it. I heard that it would be loose, not so i dont think it is loose at all. and this is with 2.73 gears. I fully recommend a stall converter to anyone who is thinking about it. JUST DO IT.

What seems like a long time ago my camaro had 2.73 gears, and I decided to get a SSF 3500. From the day I put it in I loved it, I never had any problems with it car ran great. Went from a 8.7 1/8th mile to a 8.1 1/8th mile. It just made the car so much fun to drive. Great choice on the vertor you wont be sorry

I notice you have an 01 vehicle, did you adjust your shift points? or manipulate the TM?

I had to have my vehicle dyno tuned after a Y3000 2.0STR TC change, I have 3.73 rearend gears though.

yes having the predator did help. I had TM deleted via a custom tune and i adjusted shift points and so forth. I have heard people say that their car fall flat if they dont delete TM, but so far i have not ran in to this problem, thanks to the tune.I just came back from a drive and all i have to say to those that have a4's and dont have a stall, is get one you wont regret it.

I just ordered a vigilante 3200 about two weeks ago and I feal like a twelve year old waiting for birthday presents, every time the ups guy drives by I'm at the window. I'm a pretty gay guy anyway, though...
Fastest I"ve gone so far is 13.7 @ 103 with SLP LM and lid. Hope to run low 13's with some nitto's after TC.

Thanks GeorgeC, the only reason you are still alive is because you are installing my TC, then we will see what happens

Do you have a converter in now (non-stock) or will this be your first?

By the way, you have a very sweet looking TA. I love those rims.
