I am.....well,...I was.

Stock bottom end (never touched). Beginning of this year I ran a 10.8 @122 on the happy gas. with a 1.36 short time.

But I'm currently in the process of takin' the monster to the next level. I have installed a powerglide (ran a 10.7 @112 with a 1.36 short time...yes...the car fell on it's face about 400' from the traps) so that takes me to the next step... need more RPM to get the car down the WHOLE track.... So I goin 396 with a 306/318 cam and solid roller set-up. Throwin' a 2 stage 400 shot at it.....WEEEEEEEE ...that should be worth an underwear change.

BTW...it's an lt1 ('97)

How are you cutting 1.36 60' with your M6? I'm curious of your tire/suspension setup as well as you launch.

I was amazed as well..

I launch at @5000rpm on the juice...and side step the clutch... I loved the m6...the only reason I changed to a powerglide was consistency (kinda hard to be consistent with a manual)

I ran a stage III star carbon fiber clutch, 28x10.5Wx15 e/t drags at 10lbs. The suspension has remained reasonably stock style...with ddSFCs, BMR extreme torque arm(@-2), strange 12bolt full spool, adj panhard, bmr control arms (but all those components have been customized by ECS.

When it launches...it actually lets out 1 REAL LOUD bark as it hooks. It's one of the coolest things i've ever heard...

I was, and still hold the record And as far as I know no one else at this point has done it with stock internals meaning no heads cam etc.
I did it w/o even having headers also through the cats .
Here is what I had
1)4.10s
2)centerforce clutch
3)et streets
4)flowmaster muffler
5)TNT 100 shot
6)bogart D-10 wheels 15x3.5 15x8
7)hypertech programmer just to bump rev limiter
8)Thats it nothing else, 10.95 at 122 w/a 1.53 60 foot

N/A at the time my car was running 12.30s at 110.
Not that this matters but,my car was also full weight and the only thing out of it right now is the spare tire and front sway bar.

Hey Nate probably would have been a good race but,you have some good mph 126 is awesome. Lately my car has had some changes I wanted to try and run 10.80s the way it was but, we all know how we are couldn't wait and bought heads and cam oh well can't wait to spray it now should be a fun ride. You do have a good running carr though.
