But regardless, the car was super consistant, and was running like a champ.

Track was a joke. Cars were sliding all over the place....a few hit the walls (thankfully after I had already packed up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> )

If I didn't have to air down the tires so much to hook (12-13psi since the track wasn't prepped) my mph would have been a little higher and I'm sure I could have done a little better.

The car was setup identical to my 11.7@117 pass except that I had an extra 100lbs in gas in the car (almost a full tank). Raceweight was about 3675 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> However, DA was closer to 1500 ft! That is a rarity for us! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I bet if there had been VHT on the track, and the car had the same weight as before, 11.4s-11.5's could have been had. I'm starting to get a general idea of the car's maximum potential in its current form. I think with a lot more gear, a stock flywheel back in the car, and some weight reduction, I have an outside shot of assaulting the hi 10/low 11 second mark in optimal weather <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Second to last race I hit the brakes before the finish line....

good runs. you need to come try out a LA track in the winter time. -DA is very common.

If the tech is kinda lax I'd actually consider driving out there.

When I say "about" its because I don't assume the scales are 100% accurate and equal to one another. Also, the truck stop I use is about 5-10 miles away from the track, and by the time I end up running my best pass, I've very possibly gone through another gallon of gas.

I use different scales and I'm sure they aren't all exactly equal. I figure there has got to have some sort of margain for error.

Basically, I cant for sure say its exacly 3675, but I'm sure that its +/- 10lbs or so.

where at in LA are you planning on working? We have some strict tracks, some not so strict. I live 3.5 miles from the local track, but cant race there cause I dont have a roll bar yet.
