Default Possible bad lifter?

Well, I have put about 600 miles on the car since I did the cam swap. If I rev it to about 4,000 RPM Just sitting (motor is warm) and letting it fall back to idle you can hear a noticeable tick for about 5 seconds. I have excellent oil pressure (65-70 when cold) and about 60 at idle when it is warm. Any ideas? The car seems to be running fine (good power). No misses or stumbles through the RPM range. I do have a hard SES light most of the time (goes out once in awhile). Codes are random missfire and AIR codes from when I deleted it (still haven't tuned it). Any ideas? Should I be overly concerned? Mods and specifics are in my sig.

Are you running the HPP3 powertune?? if so this could be detonation. Car running too lean. Especialy with the 99 injectors you could be close to max load on them.

I get the same thing... although not as consistant.

I ONLY got it after installing the cam, and 7.4" pushrods. I ran the 918's for a day and a half before the cam, and they were as silent as stock.

I get lots of KR, and I think this 'tick' is the cause.

It's definitely valvetrain related. It's at half crank speed.
