Makeing 4L60-E to TH400 Swap, 3 last min questions.
1) Can u use the stock torque arm, i have an aftermarket torque arm, but it mounts to the stock locations.
2) Can i use the stock cross member or do i need another one? If so, what size?
3) will the speedometer still work? If not, how do i get it to work again?
Ill be doing this in my driveway, my first time doing anything with my transmission and dont like getting stuck with problems and haveing to stop becaus something wont fit right or something.
I already know i need a different yolk, driveshaft, and shifter. So thats all on my agenda.

1. No you cannot use any type of torque arm that uses the stock location for the mount. BMR or Spohn will work fine. I use a Spohn.
2. You will need to use an M6 crossmember, and shim the tranny with washers to get it even.
3. No the speedometer will not just hook up to the TH400. Contact Madman Racing, and see if Brian can get you the hook up for speedo parts. You will still need to have LS1 Edit or other programming software to properly set the signal and be accurate. Playing with tire height is key.
Hope that helps.
