Hi everyone i need urs help, I have a 00 z28 and Im getting a 224/224 581/581 cam install, as long as stage 2 heads, and lt headers, my car also has a slp lid, tb bypass, and flowmaster catback, do i really need to tune my car, what would happen if i drive my car w/o tunning, would something break???? I also have stock converter, and stock gears i believe they are 273's please let me know, dont know what to do, and dont have money for tunning right now

You can drive the car,but maybe your gas millage going to be poor or going to have some driveability problems.But many people have simillar set ups with out the tuning.

Yeah you will need a tune. You should do a tune after a cam install and especially since you are putting on bigger heads and lt's. You can find a tune shop around you or look into ls1edit or HPTuners. A mail order tune is always an option but an actuall tune is what you should shoot for.

you went all wrong about your mods, should of got the TC first and gears. also dont install the stuff until you have enough money for a tune.

ur car is gonna idle and run like hell...especially since u have an a4. YES...tuning will be a must!! the cam is rather small, but u will still have issues. save up til u can afford a tune...u will kick urself in the *** if u dont

I drove my car when I got my cam installed and it ran ok. Tune helped the idle a lot. I can't say as far as the cam and heads. I would think you probably need to get it tuned. It would be ashamed to mess your engine up after you installed all those parts because you didn't get a tune.
