MY NEW BEST!!!!! I FINALLY GOT INTO THE 12's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight I went to Hub City Dragway and made a couple of passes. I removed the rear seat, passenger seat, spare tire, and the spare tire panel. I also ran a short belt, cut out, raised rev limiter to 6600, and raised shift points 3 mph in every gear. This was in addition to the lid, 160* thermostat, dynomax muffler, and granetelli(sp?) mafs. I have the FRA, and the EGR mod done also.
The first pass was with street tires and the cut out closed and it ran a 12.91 @ 107.2 on a 1.944 60'.
The second pass was on drag radials(worn out comp ta's with 20 lbs of air), octane booster, and cut out open; and resulted in a 12.98 @107.6 with a 2.037 60' (she spun a good bit)
The third pass a 12.839@107.68 with a 1.941 60'.
The fourth pass was with nothing changed and she ran a 12.84@108.390 on a 1.994 60'
The last pass was with a full race weight and street tires and it ran a 13.20 @106 on a 2.143 60'.
Do you guys think this sound ok? I thaught those were GREAT times being that the car still weighed about 3700 lbs with me in it.

Congrats on your times though, those are good for the mods!

I wish I could get my car down to 3500 lbs but I weigh about 300 lbs myself so its gunna be kinda hard or at least further than I want to take weight reduction(on this car anyway) I think she has a 12.7 in her but I don't think I will be trying her out again until I get some skinnies and get rid of those cats and that old flat y-pipe.
03 Cobra..... isn't that a myth???? LOL I haven't seen but 2 of them and only one of them was from here and the other was from another state.
