Question Vote: Best Yank Model TC for Me:

Hey guys, I just want some opinions on which yank stall converter to get assuming price is no option. I have 3.73's and BFG Drag Radials, and some other bolt on things and springs/shocks.

ST3500
or
SS3800

If anyone has these to sell let me know, I am looking to buy a used one.

Thanks! -Brent

well, i believe the only way you will get an ST3500 is used, i don't think they have that one anymore if i remember correctly. Any particular reason why you are just looking at Yank? You may also want to look into a TCI3500 or 3800 stall. Do some searches.

I vote for the TCI 3800 , Kick *** converter that comes with great customer service....I was cutting high 1.5s in the 60ft on 8in ET streets with 342s , babying the throttle, but your drag radials are not going to cut it no matter what converter you get..

ST 3500 is not available new for F-Body's. Buy the SS4000 if your track is well prepped. If it is slippery get the SS3600.

you can always call them up direct they make the things, they probably have some of the best advice for your motor/driveline to give. i always try to go direct to talk to the folks you can tell if they are str8 up or dont have a clue.

SS-4000/4200 or a PT-4000/4200.

Don't waste your time with anything else BUT maybe a TCI converter!

CamaroCain, why are you pushing TCI when you run a PT4400. While back you were telling everyone to get a PT4400. Im not trying to start **** but want to see if you know something I dont. I waiting to get a PT4200 myself.

I just dont hear much or know much about 3000-3800 stalls from Yank vs TCI. If he asked what is the best 4000+ converter then I would say a PT. I am not pushing anything in particular, i only really know what i have ran and I think people should always do lots of research before just going at one company.
