Default 408 iron block guys come on in

Got the block shipped last week and the old engine should be out 2morrow. I did notice on a thread that there is a problem with the alternator and would have to be modified in order to fit? I thought it was a direct bolt on? Is the location different on the 6.0 block than the ls1, and how did you get the alternator to fit. Thanks for all help,
Chris

i dont think you have to modify anything, just leave one bolt out is all.

I think I can live without one bolt! Thanks for the input!

Just drill and tap the missing alternator bracket hole. Just don't go too deep. I did mine and there were no problems. I even did it in the car.

Drill and tap is the way I will go. The block is out of the car so it should go very smooth. Thanks for the replys
