Default Summit Brand Ring/Pinion?

I'm looking to step up to 4.56's with my car and I was checking out summit for the parts.

I see they have summit brand ring/pinion sets for only like 130 bucks...way cheaper than other stuff but I'm of course weary of "you get what you pay for".

Anyone used their stuff before and have an opinion?

Thanks..

Sean,

I'm no help on the Summit gears but I have my local driveline shop putting a Precision gear in my carrier for a good price. The shop's been around as long as I can remember and the guys really know their stuff and speak highly of Precision. Just another option for you to check out. Oh, and don't you just love the smell of gear oil in your garage

I was looking at the summit catalog yesterday and wondering the same thing

A neighbor of mine has offered to give me a spool. That with a set of summit 4:56 gears and one of those $200 strange cases on ebay would make for an inexpensive centersection setup.
