S2000 Funny Story.
Sooooo I'm heading out to my parents horse farm to feed the animals (yes horse farm, dirt roads, horse ****, camaro = no good.) Well Im on 24 in michigan, which is called lapeer road. I just passed the meijers on the right and stop at the light. Low and behold a late 20's somethin with his girlfriend in the car pull up next to me and my buddy in a S2000. Im sitting there, minding my business when I hear this guy rev at me. I laugh. He looks over and redlines the beast. I laugh again. So I stage up next to him, set the rpms at 2500 and wait for the light. There was a bump in the middle so I was goin to roll out and punch it, figure i could whoop that thing even if i did that. But I didnt even have to do that to kick that things ***. Light go green, bam that guy dumps his clutch. All i hear is the car revving and nothing movin, I finish out first gear, shift to second and i see the S2000 SHROUDED AND COVERED and i mean COVERED in white smoke. guess what, the tool just ripped his clutch to SHREDS. im talkin he musta takin 20k of life off that sucker. The guy stayed into it for about 15 seconds, he thought he was burning out!!! haha I was dying of laughter when he cmes cruisin back onto my bumper. I drop it to second and go 2 - 3 - 4 and stop at 120. mind you this is on 24 with no traffic and nobody ahead. slow down and make my turn, still laughin my *** off. god I love how he bought a 6 speed rwd 4 banger that he thinks can take out the world. gj honda on a nice clutch.

Great Kill.
It's just about a fact that one good sidestep on that clutch will torch it. I've seen one do it, and I know another guy who did it. Dunno why they haven't done something about it!

I bet he was tellin' his g/f that the car was just so powerful, that the clutch couldn't handle it, and that if he would have been able to launch, that he would have roasted the LS1. It wouldn't surprise me if he had some excuse along those lines.
