Default comp cams 224/228 114 cam...hows it gonna sound?

I currently have lt's, ory, hooker catback, lid, bellows, free mods and p&p throttle body.

Ill be installing a comp cams 224/228 114 lsa .563/.563 lift cam in the next two weeks or so, and i wanted to know what to expect. I already have the power band and such figured...peak and average numbers i think i have down but With the split , lsa and lift...is this going to idle pretty smoothly? will i be able to tell there is a cam in there at idle? Seems to me that the middle of the rpm range is going to be where the most sound from the cam is...

is this about right..just trying to figure out what i should expect sound-wise.

Thanks
Travis

The sound depends alot on your idle speed. The lower the idle, the more the cam will seem to thump thump thump..

I found a clip.. Idle speed seems pretty high on this one.

Is this cam profile considered an XE-R?

Went to Comp web site and they do not list a 224/228 .563/.563 114lsa.
The first 224/230 is the smallest of XE-R offered

Hard to tell the ramp rates without the .600 numbers, but I'd go ahead and guess XE lobes as XE-R is hard to find with less than .57x lifts.

z28venom is that a flowmaster catback? that sounds great. doesnt seem to be too loud, but there were obviously cut outs at the end there. all of a sudden theson of a bitch just startsloping lol

I purchased the cam from z28venom, he gave me the specs ask him where its from lol.
