pacesetters question???
they supplied me w/ everything except sims.should i;1.)use their gaskets or FEL-PRO's? 2.)use their header bolt's or my old ones? 3.)extensions or use their DIY kit?.........................TIA.

2. I used the Pacesetter bolts, but you could also reuse your stock ones. It's up to you.
3. Please buy extensions. Don't chance screwing up your O2's.
About the sims. Do you plan on getting an Edit tune anytime soon? If you do, just deal with the SES light until you can get the rear O2's removed with Edit.
Even if you don't plan to get a tune. I would just deal with the SES light.

i've been drivin w/o egr for like 4k miles now, and i have a 2000. nice yellow SES light on all the ****** time. oh well. you get used to it. hopefully i'll be gettin hptuners sometime in the near future.

i already ordered fel-pro gaskets, so ill use those.ill probably use the pacesetter bolts.and about the extensions...thats what i was thinkin,dont F them up.im ordering sims tomorrow,thanks.anything else i need to know?

gotcha...i thought you were sayin the stock(used)ones were better than the FP's.i just heard the fp's were very good sealing gaskets, so i got 'em.

well,got my manifolds off today that sucked!!LOL.waiting on degreaser now to clean the sealing surface,before i installthe headers.i just hope i dont have to do any notching to the k-member.i just cant wait for this install to be done!the benefits are more than worth it.

today i got one manifold off today(took drivers side yesterday) the passenger side was hell! and i got the driver's side header in today,went in like a glove.fit is perfect.im really happy with how well it tucks under.they look very nice. thanks for all your help,venom. i cant wait to get my cam now.working on my car is so addicting, its like CRACK!!!

Glad to hear that the driver side header did not require notching, cause I'll be in your shoes this weekend if my headers come in! Try buying HP Tuners, to me that is like crack! I have been messing with it for almost a week! There is so much to learn and I still don't know squat! Good luck on the rest of the install! Let us know how it went.

mine slid right in no problems at all!i finished up today.i had to remove the pass. side heat shield,cuz i didnt want it to make any noise.other than that slid in like butter.you just have to find the right angle and its all good.i used a 13" jack w/ 2- 4x4's on top of it. cant w8 to get o2 extensions and sims(on order, should be here tomorrow)

Are you driving without o2 extensions and 02 sims?
