Question Another TR224 question

Will the 112 LSA on the TR 224 cause any misfire codes? And what about the 114 LSA, same question. Yes I have done searches. I am about to buy this cam and was just trying to get all info I could first. Thanks.

Just about all lopey cams will throw a misfire code. For some odd reason, my 230/226 112LSA didn't. I think the misfire sensitivity was relaxed a little at idle. I'm sure one of the sponsors will do this for fairly cheap.

My TR224-114 throws a misfire code every once in a while...not every time I drive the car though. This usually happens if I let it idle for a long time.

My TSP 224R with 112 LSA threw a misfire code right off the bat. Ran it a month until the tune and never threw another misfire code.

my tuner turned off the random misfire code from ls1 edit when i installed my tr 224 112 lsa cam. i guess its hard to tell the difference when a car misfires if it has a cam since its all basically a small misfire.

mine threw 100 of them since any cam should trigger them usually. I had to turn mine off in edit. But if you watch on atap, your will see about 20 misfires per cylinder normally per minute..

nothing wrong with it, but a 112 will lope harder than a 114 so givin all things are the same it will set off a tad more misfires
