Default Will a truck TB work on a Camaro?

I know they're virtually identical except for the coolant tube and the fresh air tube or whatever it is being different. Has anybody used a Truck throttle body on a Camaro or Firebird though?

I have one on mine. Bolts up fine. I had to tap the fresh air tube around just a bit. I bypassed the coolant tube, so no biggie there. There are some earlier model truck tb's that are smaller though.... So it depends on the year.

I ported a truck TB core for my '02 Camaro SS
and left the original casting untouched, for
sentimental value.

Coolant tubes differ (I cut mine off and bypassed).

Throttle cam is different from the late Fbodies, it's
smaller. I swapped my '02 throttle shaft on and
reused the truck blade.

PCV fresh air nipple is different. I wiggled them both
out with a #2 Phillips down the neck and swapped
the car one on (alternative would be a new hose).
