I saw a 35th anniversary camaro today that was blue with the checker stripes and had the plate saying 35anniv. I would like to know how many were built.

The real ones are all red, there aren't any other color 35th LE's. They sell the stripe decals however, and you can put them on any color you wish.

This thing was gorgeous, too bad they didn't make it in that color. i think I like it better than the red one.

I would of liked it more if it was hugger orange.

I would have liked it with white stripes instead of silver. It would have looked more like the 1st gens.

Any 2002 is a 35th anniversary, since they were first built in '67, but only the limited edition models are "true" 35th anniversary models! ;)

Yah I tried to order a blue one, but they only came in red. I might put the stripes on my blue SS anyway; looks hot but I too would rather have them in white. The 35th ltd should have been hugger w/ white stripes w/o a doubt.
Just another ball gm dropped.

hugger and white would of been more historical. Kind of like the 30th anniversary of the Firebird and T/A with the white/blue combo aka 1970.
