i have been looking into this --whats it all take to do the swap--? if you do this and everything works good --please help me gather up what is all needed
i have a guy in town that knows them really well , but i need to know what to do in the comp-ect. --he has been trying to get me to do this for a while now --
i think my car would do better with a full griping tranny-4l80 is only a lil longer and fatter by the rear planet assembly --please keep me informed on this--im into 4l60e's for at least 4k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW YANK PRODUCTS SUCK!

We just took my 4l80 core apart last week . It had 90,000 miles on it and looked like new inside. Not one clutch was burned and they even had the writing on the sides of the clutches like they were almost new. I am going with the full manual valvebody that removes all computer control from the tranny. I will just have to shift it which is fine.
The shift kit retails for about $275 witch is alot less than the stand alone computers others sell. I figure its just like doing the TH400 swap. you have to change the same things but you still l have OD and lockup.
