Default Clear front turn signals and clear rear bumper reflectors

I was wondering if anybody knows which brands are the best when it comes to clear lenses. I am looking to replace my amber front turn signals with clear ones, I also want to replace my red rear bumper reflector (the little rectangular piece in front of the rear bumper) with a clear piece. I'm not even sure if the latter exists.

I am mainly concerned with quality but I would also like to get it for the best price, so it doesn't have to be the best of the best.

If anybody has any experience with a certain brand please let me know, I have no idea what's good and what's not.

Edit: I also wanted to know about the orange bowtie next to the "SS" on the rear bumper. Is there anyplace that sells the original for replacement? Or does anybody sell them in different colors? I know I've seen red ones too. I'm guessing I would have to go to a dealer to get it replaced.

i see a bunch of clear bumper lenses for sale on ebay, are those good? they seem awfully cheap. I'm guessing the ones from RKsport are probably the best, or most oem style. Any input would help, I just don't want to buy crap!

Have you checked out www.afterthoughtsauto.com , they don't sell rear clear side markers for the 4th. gen Camaro but here's an excellent place with front corners www.pacificie.com . This might be of some help when you install the front lenses https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...r+install+pics .

I bought mine from afterthoughts (front) and have had no problems with them. I don't like the OEM styled ones look chinsy. I have bought clear corners for my other car on ebay for $10 and they were just as good as the afterthoughts ones. I have markers blanks in the rear instead of any lights. don't remember the website for them though... custom lighting or something

I have the APC clears up front. I like the because they are white looking not clear. Oh yeah by the way the are a pain in the a$$ to put in unless you want to take the nose cone off. The way I got mine in was to break the corner of the factory lense off and to get the new ones in I sanded the corner off. It sets behind the nose cone anyways you don't see it. Heres a pic of them on my car.

I thought getting some myself, but since I have a dark colored car and wanted something different than stock. I also still wanted the stock look, so I painted mine NBM body color. Got the paint at Wal-Mart (Dupli-Color #GM-505). I just removed all 4 side markers, sanded smooth with 1500 grit sand paper, primered, 3 coats of paint, 2 coats of clear an hour after last coat of paint, then sanded 1500 again, compound, and buffed. Pulled the bulbs out so there is no light. Now they just blend in with the car! Also did my smooth door locks at the same time. I love the way it turned out and just makes it more sleeker looking. No one ever noticed it, but I'm glad cause that means they don't stand out.

If someone wants to see some pics, I'll take some. Been meaning to, but never think about doing it.

They are a easy install once you know the way to do it. On the fronts they tend to fog up and get water in them, now I'm going through this problem. Some say use LED's for the lights in the front, some say drill small holes and some say seal them up good. Not sure what will work best.
To install the fronts is simple. Remove 1 bolt that hold the headlight in. Take out the headlight(usally comes out the direction towards the fender), take the screws out that hold the bumper lights. Is a tight fit but they do come out. Replace same way as take out. Was worried the first time I did it, but after 4 times taking them out, it is a 10 minutes per side job.

I bought mine from ebay, just made sure i sealed them around the lense with clear silicone because of what people say on this site about them filling up with water. Mine are fine.

Those of you that have the clear bumper lights (turn signals), do you have a preference for the regular ones vs. the "European Diamond Cut"?

Thanks
