Default New tune shows FTC 22 when engine idles cold?

After my latest tune when I changed my MAF rate to compensate for a 10% lean condition, now my car show FTC 22 being used at idle, mostly when I start and the engine is cold...why is that?

My truck uses cells 20 and 22 (open loop) until the ECT is high enough to activate closed loop. When ECT is warm, they also show up very briefly after startup until closed loop kicks in.

To me, this sounds like what you describe. I think it is normal.

I bet you have your throttlebody cracked open too far. When i was messing with mine i opened it too far and it started idling in cell 22 when cold, even though i reset the tps.

I get this too. How far is too far on the throttle stop adjustment? If it's normal then I won't worry about it. If it's not, then I'll have to fix it.

It was about 1/6 turn past where i needed it to get it to idle good with my 222/22 112 lsa cam. I bet if you back it off a 1/4 turn max it will go back to cell 20, and you can get the rest of the flow you need by drilling the tb hole. I'm not sure if it has to do with tps voltage or what.

I don't know...I haven't touched the throttle body (lately). Just the tune, and a 160 thermostat... All my old logs look fine before the tune and the stat.
