I was surprised to see one!

Silver C6 on Western Avenue in Chicago.

Looks nice, overall, you can kind of tell that's a bit shorter than the C5.

I do not like the headlights being body coloured, I bet that aftermarket will come up with better looking ones.

Car had a very nice stance.

I don't like the body colored headlights either.

I am willing to bet alot of owners will paint that area under the clear plastic black.

I never realized they were body colored. No wonder I thought they looked like crap. I wonder if there are still some good deals on C5s...

I saw a rat the size of a cat at a shop on western ave. hehehehhehhe Western ave. is not the place to a C6 vette in certain parts.

I saw one up close, the rear end looks fat like a supra's. What do you all think?

yeah western blows haha depending on where you are that is...it was prolyl in the beverly area RICH FUCKIING PEOPLE hhahah i never realized the same color i personally love the new vettes....but its gotta be in red not rally red the original color they showed on the commercials or lemans blue all the other colors look kinda weird in person especailly the orange and silver and BLACK

I like the headlights the way they are. Especially the electron blue cars and the black cars. Can't wait until the convertibles come out, they look sweet.

Headlites look funny... I thought of the departed Stealth, and recall vaguely that maybe a Ferrari has headlights like that too. I'm sure the headlights look okay on a dark car.

You can say that again. Try going to 55th and Western Ave about 2 am on a Saturday, nothing but fun times. BTW, give the hood rats out in Gage Park a big shout out from me. :guns:

Thanks for the compliments on my GTO. I have never had it on display in primer. Maybe you are thinking about another GTO? Mine was in a couple of mags and I had it at WoW a couple of years ago, maybe you saw it there?

If we are still counting...I just saw a whole truck load of C6s about 20miles north of Pittsburgh. :)

There were many new Corvettes at the Dream Cruise, all of them looked stunning.

They make the previous Corvette look like a round, cartoon of a car. These are much sharper, cleaner, smaller, more aggressive. A huge improvement in every respect.

They (Chevrolet) had a bunch of them up at Corvette Carlisle in (of course) Carlisle, Pennsylvania last Saturday. They really got some wild color combo's for them. I'm in love with the burnt orange and the yellow one. I agree that they will only grow on us more and more.

I work for the Tribune, and can tell you there are also a black and a red one in town. At least those are the two that were given to the Trib and WGN last week.

Didn't get a chance to see them for more than 2 minutes though-

Yeah, I spotted one on ford road (detroit), red. The car looks so nice, Im fonna see if I could go to the detroit auto show in Jan. So I can see it. (or was it at the last auto show?) Check out the specs.

I saw a dozen of them going west on I-80 here in Wyoming. I spotted 1 sunset orange on the trailer. Couldnt count anymore since I almost wrecked!!! :funny:

The rats used to congregate under the alignment rack at my buddies shop, to scare em off they would spray lit brake clean at em :rotflmao: my buddies worked at Toyota on Western.

I still have 33 C5's on the lot pm me if ya want a great deal on one...I'll hook ya up with a premo deal....we have had 9 C6's come though the store so far..great looking car and it drives much better than the C5...everything on it is much slicker than the C5...I was lucky enough to drive the some of the new cars on a road course at the Atlanta Motor Speedway couple of weeks ago...it drives sweet and is very easy to drive fast..the new Z51 package is the bomb...the big brakes by themselves are worth the money...it sure was fun running the car on the track...got to compare the car with the BMW Z4, the Boxster S, and the 911 Carrera in both auto and manual transmission...Z4 and the Boxster S are girlie cars...Z4 was real twichie under hard braking and not particularly much fun to drive. The vette smoked all of there asses. It is still the best bang for the buck. It was 25 grand less expensive than the Carrera...GM did a great job on the redesign of the car...do the math 400\400 and it gets 28 MPG...there is nothing out there that can compete with it for the $$$... :usa:

Saw one Saturday cruising around here in central PA. It was a Maroon coupe with the chrome wheels.
