Was On My Way Home From Work Last Thursday And A Blue Zo6 Was On My ***. We Raced 3 Times From A Digg And I Beat Him. He Was Kinda Pissed So We Went From A 20 Punch And I Hung Right With Him Till 120. It Had Borla And A Cold Air Intake. I Was Wondering If Anyone Else Has Raced One And What The Results Were Because My Car Has Only Bolt-ons?????

The Reason I Raced Him From A Roll To 120 Was To Take Driver Out Of The Equation. Just Wanted To See How Long I Could Hang With Him But We Were Nose To Nose. He Was Pretty Pissed.

good kill but usually to hang with a 03 z06 and f body needs around 375-400rwhp which means having full bolt ons and a cam. i have a vid of a guy in a 375rwhp ws6 that beats a z06 from a dig and stays right with the z06 from a roll.

i have h/c and i smoke my buddys stock 03 z06 all day.

Nice kill!!!! That boy needs to learn how to drive. Generally, you need a little more than boltons to beat a ZO6 in an F-body. But anything can happen on the street.

If the guy's pissed, it's because he can't drive. That Z06 driver must suck, cause I've seen some at the track. Even the ones on street tires were mid 12sec cars, and your car can't do that. Good kill, I think.

Could have been an '01. Either way, the results are not consistent with what should have happened (Z06 pulls away). But, as FLYNLO stated, anything can happen.

Maybe the Z06 had the Traction control on or had it off and spun like mad, or maybe he didnt know when to shift? But yes those are all maybe's Good Kill

I belive it. Ive seen so fukn many street races that i just KNEW who was gonna win, no two ways about it, then shmoe in the "can't loose" car turns out to be a friggin drivin' Miss Daisy behind the wheel. Ive seen with my own eyes a dude at Rockingham in an '02 Z06 run consistant 15 sec et's. You cant take for granted that everyone on the road can pilot a 12 sec car to 12 second elapsed times. It just dont work that way.

PS. Nothing against the Vette enthusiast on here or any other board, but it seems Vettes suffer from nondrivingdumbshititis more than most other cars.

So hoopty, you prefer older guys???? j/k......anyway, you are right. I forgot to turn off T/C many times and usually it didn't matter. It will screw you in a close race but this one should not have been close.
