300c's going for a bit over invoice or ???
Looking at 300c as a daily driver but have not made a decision yet... Local dealer sales guy said that a few hundo over invoice will not happen... anyone have experience or thoughts?

300C hemi has an 11 day supply...versus a 68 day supply of the hemi powered Magnum..
I think you will get a slightly better deal on that..
If I remember correctly....DC is offering a 1,000 rebate on either of these two models..
Think of it this way....even at 33 grand for the base 300C is a hell of a deal..
Skip a few of the options...maybe add them on later on..and enjoy the ride...
Dealers could be more flexible on the 300C when the 300C SRT with 425hp hits the market place..
same might be said when the Dodge Charger rolls out shortly...and I believe photos will be available in sept. if I remember correctly..
Maybe the Charger would be more to your liking..

Thanks for the info.
Wifey does not like the styling and I want her to feel good about it... Frankly I like the styling but I am surprised a car that big can only tow 2000 lbs.
I cannot do anything until the end of September I still need my Tahoe.

As for deals, my parents ordered a new 300C from the local dealership here and they sell them all at a few thousand under MSRP, or a few hundred over invoice. A Hell of a deal on a brand new, and hot selling car. They also offered me a $34k Magnum RT for $31k.

If you're serious, contact them, I can give you names if you like.

I could definitely understand if your wife doesn't care for the Magnum...as mine doesn't either...
Better to keep the wife happy with her vehicle... 'What ever you want" is my motto and as long as we drive what we want...The rest is only fair..
Good luck in your search...
With an 11 day supply of 300C's being reported..it might be tough to get more than the 1,000 dollar rebate I believe chrysler tacked on to even the 300C (being aware consumers today are rebate motivated) but it sounds like Trishield has a dealer willing to cut an amazing price so it might be a good way to go...
I still personally believe the 300C with minimal rebate or dealing is well worth a purchase if your better half likes that car over the magnum....
If you've got the time...The charger which is due to have a photo release shortly..might be something your wife likes ?
Supposed to be a nice car from what the rumors are suggesting..

I'm looking for a car that is
-fun to drive
-decent in snow
-has four doors
-that is classy enought to see clients in
-costs $28K - $35K
I'm down to:
-BMW 330 Sedan
-G35 Sedan
-300C
If I could get a CTS-V for $40K I would sincerely try to get one. GTO is not on the list, has to be four doors.

300C is a winner and is available for under 35 grand if you go light on the options...
Comes pretty well equipped..
The G35 sedan with awd is another good value in the marketplace...
For business? I'd go with the Hemi 300C
I believe it to be an excellent choice.
This is without a doubt one of the best automobiles of the year.
As you know its basically a Hemi powered Mercedes Benz E class with American styling and cost structure..
If your looking for 28 to 35 grand...The Acura TL is a fine choice and I believe their is some flexibility in its pricing. I've been impressed with the car, more so than the 3 series Bimmer..I'm just tired of them...Personally I think the 3 series is somewhat passe..
The Saab 9/3 higher performance sedan has lots of room...and with their weak sales ...they must be cutting amazing deals...I'm not a lover of Saabs in general but they are cutting some pretty amazing deals..
I'm not sure if your buying or leasing..
I'm just shooting the breeze....so no offense to anyone who has the Bimmer..
There are better values though...and I believe the 300C to be the best of the bunch..I'd go for one without every option and possibly call the gentlemen who mentioned that he had some type of connection with a dealer willing to knock a few bucks off...
Good luck...

I agree with your points.
TL:
+6 speed, 270hp, very advanced
-bland nose styling, torque steer
G35:
+available with 6 spd, also AWD, okay performance, base model is rwd
-bland styling, 05's supposedly get another 30hp
-rwd maxima?
330i:
+6 spd, great handling, impress the neighbours
-225hp might not enough for me, 05's getting restyled, bland styling
300c:
+strong hp, 5spd auto, 60% Daimler content, edgy styling, 50/50 weight dist., nice interior, fold down rear seats
-A $33K Chrysler, will I see them used as police cars, too pimpy for some

john, if you order one u might have a better chance getting a better deal cause the car was built specificaly for you, plus it takes roughly 6-8 weeks and the demand wont be so high then.

If you can wait another month or so longer, you'll be able to get them with AWD. It's the same 4MATIC system Mercedes-Benz cars use.

Having considered buying all the cars you've listed, I can safely say the 300C is the second most substantial and competent next to the BMW, and everyone loves them. You'll probably never get tired of driving it because of the muscle car power and Euro handling that makes the others feel quite weak.

Fantastic car, at an unbeatable price.

Get a 300c. I own one and it is leaps and bounds over the competition. It is much faster than any of the other cars you listed, especially on the highway. It is much, much, much larger inside than any of the other cars (great for those 6'5 execs. you may have to house ) and the wife will love how much better it drives than the other cars. The BMW, the TL, and the G35 are all considered "sports sedans" and they ride a little harsh compared to the 300c. Since the 300 is an E class suspension, expect a lot.
FYI, I paid 33,500 for a Magnesium Green 300c with the Safety Package (side curtain airbags etc), Sirius radio (came with the car...), 6 disc in dash changer. I also just spent 300 on the hands free cell phone thing I got through Mopar.
They are tough to find one since most dealers (at least around here) are not willing to trade
Hope this helps!
Oh, and I don't think you will find a 330 for less than 35 now adays
