Default Fitting cats and cutouts in the Ypipe.

Has anyone been able to fit cutouts in front of the cats on the ypipe? I lost almost .17 in the 1/4 mile adding random tech cats #703000. I love the sound and the ability to pass a visual inspection, but its killing me at the track. Only other choice would be to add one cat in the Ipipe. I'm currently running Pacesetters LTs with a Pacesetter Ypipe with RT cats welded in. Any suggestions?

I must say it was hard to find a shop that would attempt what I wanted, and it turned out better than expected. Just for the record, I was searching for a way to tame my SLP LM/ORY setup without losing much in the 1/4 mile. After reading posts I called Random tech, who claimed I would lose maybe 1 hp going from a ORY to a Duel RT Ypipe. Oh, and some people gain torque from this set up. (So I was told by their tech line.) (Part#703000 metal matrix cats) So, for about $550.00 I had the cats installed. About 30 runs later I realized I made the wrong choice- I went from 12.515/109.17 MPH (ORY DA+2009) to 12.689/107.25 MPH (Duel RT Ypipe, DA+1106).
After doing additional mods - Still running the RT cats my best run of 12.026/112.75 (DA +1768) dropped to 11.773/115.38 MPH. (DA +2053) bypassing the cats w/cutouts. I hope this will shed a little light on what to really expect from the RT cats. I think the RT's were a great solution for my sound issues I had with the SLP LM w/ORY setup, but thats about it.
