weighed the car- TA
finally got around to weighing the car in. car weighed 3460-3470 by itself (quarter tank of gas) plus me=~3625. I had the torque thrusts on though- they weigh 50 pounds each...not sure how much the slicks and skinnies weigh.
car- 01 TA with nothing but the jack/spare taking off the car for weight reduction. its an automatic with vig converter, strange 12 bolt, chromemoly driveshaft, leather seats with power (all seats in), electric windows, sway bars on, stock torque arm, long tubes (orps), to a dual dual catback, spare/jack out, stock k member and a arms.
just thought this info could help some people out. apparently my car is a frickin pig <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> im guessing raceweight at the track to be about 3500 and some change.
fwiw, i weighed the strange before i put it in and it came out to 180 pounds. the driveshaft was pretty heavy, i didnt get to weigh it though.
oh yea, its a regular steel hood.
forgot the granetalli subframes too.
