Default Anyone extended their 02 sensor wires (homemade)

Has anyone just used the kit that comes with headers to extend their 02 sensor wires? It's an extra $50 you'd save by not buying extenders. It's just 8 wires to strip and attach new wires to. Everyone seems so against it, I don't see why, aside from it takes more work. As long as the connections are soldered I don't see a problem.

I wouldnt see any issue with this, Just might not feel very professional to some. Maybe they are concerned with lack of a good connection leading to bad signals from the o2 sensors. Soldering should eliminate this though.

I did mine myself. It's worked without any trouble for over a year.

everyones against extending the actual sensors' wires, not the wires that connect to the O2 sensor
the sensor wires are stainless or something, regular ol lead solder doesnt work with it

I did mine and had nothing but problems! Use your rear ones in the front if you need more length!
