Default LT1 Throttle Stop???

Anyone know of a company that sells a throttle stop for the LT1?

I wanna run Super e/t this year.... But without one... It would be a waste of time.

I've never seen anyone make something specific however, I'm sure you could make one of Dedenbears linkage style stops work.

Good luck!

If you have some ingenuity and a little bit of fabrication skill, you can make one of the linkage style stops work. I am going to adapt one to my car sometime, but I just keep finding other things that need to be done first...

Depending on how much under the class index you're running, you may want to just consider a mechanical stop/throttle limiter. Two years ago I bracket raced all season long in the "Sportsman" class which has an ET break of 12.00. I used a mechanical stop on my throttle body to slow my car down from ~11.2's down to 12.1's.

No pics, but it was a very simple thing...

I have a hole drilled and tapped in the "bump-stop" section of the throttle body. I run a 3/16" bolt in from the backside and secure it with a jam nut on the front side. Depending on how far the bolt is threaded in, I can limit the throttle travel anywhere from a little to a lot.

Would this cause probs for cars running closed loop tuning? is: trying to maintain a AF of ~14:1 and T-blade angles under 80%?

Back in the "old days" my car was still using closed loop. I never had any issues.

Think about it for a second... Can't you drive your car around @ 1/2 throttle without anything bad happening? The only issue may be tranny line pressure, but I had a TH350 at the time, so it wasn't an issue.
