Modified LS1 Rocker Arms(new Bearings) OK I know some of you out there do not use aftermarket rockers simply because they are a little heavier over the tip. Well we are going to offer a set of modified stock LS1 rockers done by Harland Sharp. The new rockers will have a new trenion and new bearings with provisions for clips so there is absolutly no chance the bearings can come out. They will use the stock rocker bodies. We will offer them on an exchange basis-send in your rockers we will send you a set rebuilt or as a core charge. We can also offer different ratio when it is done change your stock rockers to a 1.8.

What do you mean the Harland Sharps have zero clearance issues already? I am not sure how much just yet but could be available very soon.

I wouldn't call these ZERO issues
Why would you go this way over a new set?
HS would be better rockers, lighter, twin-shaft (no twist), beautiful (see them once a year or at breakdown),roller bearing nose, BUT a little heavier on that nose.
However, I'll have AFR's and I would hate to start grinding, measuring, HOPING they would fit. (Heads or VC's)
A stock rocker that doesn't splill bearings would not make me think twice.
Also bear in mind that my "small" cam will not see more than 6600rpms.

Yes nothing fits on a 98 head they will be good for that. I have installed probably 50 sets on 99+ and truck heads and never had a set that hit or needed clearancing. I have had a couple of people tell me they have? I guess every casting is different but then why have I never run into it? We will also be testing on the AFR`s soon to see the clearance on those heads.

I would be interested if the price was significantly under the price of purchasing new SLP 1.85 rockers.
Here’s my reasons:
1. Obviously the better bearing & 1.8 ratio change.
2. No clearance issues.
3. Longer life span vs. aluminum body rockers for street use.
4. Allows me to run different ratios on the intake vs. exhaust when used with stock rockers.
5. I’ve heard that stockers are lighter over the valve than some aftermarket.
6. I have a set of stock rocker arms on my shelf collecting dust. Did I mention price?
I sure hope this doesn’t go the same way as the 2-piece timing cover did. I was getting all hyped-up about being able to change cam timing easily and then I saw the price, ugg.
Price will again be the BIGGEST factor in my decision to go this route.

Is this thread a marketing research or are you guys going to devellop this for sure?
If so could you give us a close ETA of these? Would you say before Christmas for sure?

Either as a kit with all the parts, tool and instructions. With a press the customer can install these himself.
Total rebuid kit stock ratio $210.00

These are being done now. I have not personally had anyone request the ratio change yet but I do believe they can do it for a extra charge. I will call them in the morning and ask for sure.

How much are these if I send in the core? I didn't see anything on your website.
I just ordered the LPE shortblock for $2100 and I'm waiting on AFR 225 results before deciding on heads over the winter, but at 60K I'd like to replace my stock rockers with these from you possibly.
