Default no muffler no cats just headers

i just recently purchased some hooker long tube headers and their 3 inch ory and previously to that i had ripped off the muffler to kinda get the most horsepower for the buck and i love the really loud sound. am i losing that much bottom end? was thinking of doing true dual either without mufflers or two dynomax 18in bullets? would it still be as loud, and would i get some bottom end back?

please advise

You aren't losing low end.

You don't race in the low end anyway even if you were.

Well, short spurts from a dead dig, stoplight to stoplight might be of a concern (at least it is to me) but that's a small price to pay for the overall track gains.

although it sounds good, I bet it's hella raspy and that sucks. the LS1's need some backpressure though
