Ok, I recently replaced the stock in tank pump in my truck with a home brewed dual pump setup. After putting it all back together the gas gauge went nuts so I had to order a new sender and I just got around to installing it today.

Anyways, I used a piece of high pressure fuel injection rubber hose to hook the pumps to the module (in place of that factory flex tubing) After less than 2 weeks that hose has deteriorated and become soft. The outer layer was separating and was swollen quite a bit. My question is this....what type of hose is capable of being submersed in gasoline without failing?? Is the factory flex tube available separately? I needed to get it back together and all I had was some power steering hose so thats what I put it back together with for now.

I need recommendations on what to use before that p/s hose breaks down.

lol...i went thru that shit a lot!!!!!!! Go to a hydraulic hose/fitting place...tell them what size you need....pumps are 5/16" and that it's for gas...you will be set for just a few bux if not free. I made my tee from pieces at the hydraulic place...cost 9 bux i think...5/16 tees to the pumps and the out to a 3/8 to the pump housing

Cable-so you are saying that hydraulic hose is ok to submerse in gasoline? My application is 3/8" on both ends, so nothing special is required.

I contacted racetronix and they wouldn't sell me the flex line so I am not sure where to turn at this point.

Anybody else have any suggestions?
