Default Iron 427-Alum 427 RWHP and RWTQ?

What would be some of the differances between the 2 power wise and TRQ? I know the iron is alot tougher but weighs 80lbs more. I`m wanting to do one and I`m really curious! Thanks fellas!!

planning to spray a 200 wet shot!!

I believe with the Iron 427 you'd have to use a 4.125 crank instead of a 4.00 crank like you could with a resleeved aluminum block. Most builders I think wouldn't recommend that considering it has more stroke than bore (undersquare.) The only person I personally have heard of that did an iron 427 had some issues and therefore went to a resleeved aluminum block.

If you need/want 422+ cubes I'd definately do resleeved aluminum.

what is the cost differance from iron to alum? I know you have a exchange for core. What else?
