Default Engine rebuild. ( what to expect)?

Hey guys.
Am having my 2000 Z28's engine rebuilt due to a busted cam bearing. ( so i was told)

Anyway, this shop has a few 02 LS1 blocks with all new bearings, etc....

Other than that they will be taking & re-using my internals. new rings ofcourse...

Anyway, this perf. shop specializes in LS1/LS6's.

What should i look/listen for when i get the car back tomorrow?

Initially they had installed a cam & i believe they nicked the cam bearing which resulted in low oil pressure. ( below 20 PSI) Although they did not admit that they did this, they are making it right on this install.

My car has 160K on it. Bought it new, and changed the oil/filter religiously.
Accidents happen, so i am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

They tell me with the new block, bearings, rings, etc.. i'll be good for another 160K.

What do you all think.?
Thanks in advance for your input.

Just make sure you have good oil pressure, about 30-40 PSI hot idle.

As far as sounds, listen for any noises that you never had in your prior 160K miles, i.e. loud ticks, knocks, misses, etc.

Other than that, should not be a big deal?
That is good to know. As stated previously, i know they know there business because there are always LS1/LS6 ( F-bod's/Z06's) powered vehicles @ all times of the day.

They are avid racers as well.
Thanks for the reassurance.
