Well, we have a trans problem. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

We have no 3rd gear. We think that we have a bend shift fork. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

We removed the shifter stops when we installed the new trans because we were having a hard time getting the trans to go into gear. Not a very good idea. <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

Madman is now seeing if we can get someone in Houston to fix it before this weekend. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Damn, I want to race this weekend in something other than the tow truck. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Was is the shift forks?

What possesed you to remove the shift stops? Did it really make it easier to shift?

Thanks guys.

We removed the shift stops because we could not get her into gear when we 1st put the motor back in. This is not a very good idea. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Madman, will have her fixed so we can go out and test at Lone Star Raceway Park Friday night for the points race there on Saturday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Then I will race in a $2,500.00 to win footbrake class at Temple Academy Dragway on Sunday. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
