TCI SF 3000 and N20?
My buddy is running 13.30's w/boltons and street tires. We're going to put DR's on the car and run a TC SF3000.I was hoping this would net .5 in the 1/4 and drop him down to 12.80's.
The car still has factory cats/manifolds and he isnt changing them, instead he wants N2O.Do u guys think a 100 shot along with the SF3000/DR's and 3.73's will be a good choice?
I think this could be a lethal street/strip combo...
Car should be stealthy and run easy 12.00's or better with a 100 squirt?

Joel, contrary to popular belief, there's not *that* much difference between a 3000 and 3500 in terms of performance for most applications (unless the engine REALLY needs the extra launch RPM and shift extension.) There's even less difference between a 3500 and a 4000. Throw some juice in the mix and the 3000 becomes an even better match.
I bet he can pull 12.8s with the converter and DRs alone. Add a 100 shot and there's your 11s.
I ran 12.60 in warm weather with this converter in the C5. Mods? I pulled the top lid off the airbox and did my little fancy programming. Stock tires too. It's a good converter.

I was kinda wondering how it is with spray. I'm looking @ a 75 shot. Jegs says it has a balloning plate.... but I wanted to be sure before I sprayed it and blew up 450 dollars worth of TC and somehow destroy a 1200 dollar tranny too.
