Difficult to remove the parking brake?

Difficult to remove the parking brake? I want to temporarily pull out the parking brake handle and assembly before I put in my Speed inc carpet this weekend. Is there anything special I need tool wise? I havent really looked at it yet but can't imagine it is anything more than a few bolts.

Re: Difficult to remove the parking brake? It isn't that hard. The only tricky part is getting the parking brake handle to go straight up. You have to wiggle a screw driver and flip a paw thing out of the way. Do a search for shifter install directions and that will explain it much better on how to deal with the parking brake.
