Prostar XPs
I was just wonderin if the weld made a set of 16inch skinnes for the front of these cars. If not what do you have to do to make the 15x3.5 and the 15x8 prostars fit.

Re: Prostar XPs
if i remember correct they do not make a 16" skinny that is why i went with the 15x6 and 15x9 xp's on mine as far as the regular prostars you can grind your calipers down until they dont rub anymore or you can go buy some wheel spacers i forgot if it is 7/32 or 5/32 spacers you need i totally forgot what size you need

Re: Prostar XPs
XPs for the back weigh the same as stock wheels so i am pretty sure the fronts would be close to the same. May not be worth it if you are trying to drop weight.

Red,
No, Weld does not make a 15" wheel that fits without grinding. You need a 5/16" thk. spacer and you will have to grind quite a bit on the rear brake calipers in order to get the wheels to fit. It took me about an hour on each side in order to get mine to clear.

Re: Prostar XPs
I am running ProStar 15x4 on front, I am using a 7/16th spacer but I think it could clear w/ 5/16th or so. On back, 15x8 required a fair amount of grinding on the calipers and their mounts, but end result: they fit, look good and I am happy with them. The biggest thing I have noticed, is that running narrower than I think 5" is stamped Drag Use Only. I asked on here to verify the fact they are more delicate (like I wanna bouce off curbs with new wheels neway) and are nto meant for the lateral side loads encountered on ripping thru corners, not my style if I have drag racing on the mind. Good-luck.
