Default H/C Install.. dead battery / tune

I started the TA up after the install and all went great. I had put the mail order tune on from TSP to get the 231/237 to run. That night I left the lights on and killed the battery.

Now with a BRAND NEW Optima Red Top it seems like it still doesn't really want to start and then it did fire up and it seemed like I was back to where I was before the tune but worse, like it forgot there was a cam in there at all.

Do I have to do something special or is it just going through a reset since the battery has died and been pulled out?

you have to let her idle for a few minutes, then after you think she's good on the idle, take her out for a nice calm drive. that will give the battery plenty of charge time, plus your pcm will re-learn all its tables.

It is good to hear that I don't necissarily have an issue yet.. I'm scared that I didn't get the alternator pulley bolt on tight enough or there is too much play in the belt and it may not be charging. I guess the underdrive crank pulley will change how it all works and hopefully I'm just not used to it.

You definitely just needed to give the car a chance to to relearn everything.

How's she running now? Usually after doing the relearn idle procedure, I take it out for 15-20 min. Just going through the gears and everything, and right before I get home.. LAY DOWN THE HAMMER..

it was pouring out all night so I didn't have a great chance to take it out. I also found that I believe I have the wrong Acc pulley. I got the one for just the crank and not the overdriven alt pulley
