Default Guess what my car will run?

I just got my car back from MTI this week. Top of the line shop-very, very nice people, top dog techs and customer service. I have a H/C package(X-1, stage 2 heads, hooker headers with ORP, and custom tuning). I dynoed with a locked convertor 420.2rwhp and 401.9 torque. My previous best was a 12.51 @107.8 with a lid, predator, Yank SS 3600,exhaust manifolds thru cats,SLP dual-dual, and ET streets.

I haven't weighed the car yet.It is a 2002 Camaro SS.It has no t-tops and has cloth interior. I have removed front sway bar, heat shields, rear spare and jack, rear cover lid, windshield washer fluid and rear upper seat( I do plan on getting bogarts in the very near future). It has stock 3.23 gears and 26x11.5x16 ET Streets.

That setup has the potential to go 10.80's at a 3450 raceweight in ideal weather.

What's your raceweight? What gears? What tires?

you have the power to go 10.8's
if the weather is right, some weight reduction, and track is prepped i'd say 10.98-11.3@122-123

average et's would be 11.11-11.39 once you figure out your launch

I took the car to the track for the first time with MTI's H/C package. It ran a 1.70 60 foot and the 1/4 in 11.95@114. It got into the 11's but the car should at leasr run a 11.5's or quicker. The reason I say that is because it hit the rev limiter badly on the 1-2 shift. Another thing that happened is that it was the first time with the new set-up(car has only 4150 miles) and the rear end broke When I turn the car to the right or to left, it makes a grinding noise and it almost stops the car(I thought maybe I had a rock in between the caliper). When I drive it straight, it drives like a charm. So my plan is to install an auburn unit with a TA girdle and see if it holds up better.I'm taking my car back to MTI to work on the shifting. The thing that has me confused is the first time I ran WOT, the 1-2 shift hit the rev-limiter. I sent the computer back to MTI and it now shifts at 6300 on the 1-2 shift and the other shifts occur at 66-6700 rpm's.The car hit the rev limiter on 1-2 shift(when I saw the tach it occured at 6300 RPM but the ither two shifts were great and it was shifting at 6700. I don't understand--maybe the factory tach doesn't keep up with the engine-any suggestions???I'm taking the car back to MTI so we can work the gremlins out--Thanks

I think 11.4-11.5's next time no problem...

Hitting the rev on 1-2 is the worst, it really fubars the run. Ideally I'd shift 1-2 at 6400-6500 for most cams...
