Well first off I have a 99 trans am WS6 vert. it has an X1 cam, TCI streetfighter converter, MTI tunning, 12 bolt with 3.73's, MTI lid, Holley power shot air filter, cut out running through stock manifolds and exhaust still, and nitto drag radials. I went to the track this past friday at HRP and was very disapointed with my track times!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> My best run that night was a 13.0 at 103 with a 1.8 60 ft. I couldn't believe that i was not even able to get into the twelves with the mods i have!! And oh yeah my race wheight that night was around 3900 and i know thats heavy but i was still expecting better times!! I know i need headers and better exhaust, but i know i should of at least gotten in the 12's. I was just wondering if anyone out there can help me out and give me any info on what i can do to get my car running better!!! I am very desperate in getting it to run better because right now i am very disapointed with what i ran! Anyone have any idea what i might be doing wrong!! Thanks for the Help!

Looks like you bought your mods in the wrong order if you wanted to be fast. If the raceweight was really 3900 you gotta explain that. Are you 400lbs or did u install 10 12's in the car? Get the car down to 3550 raceweight or so and get some ehaders. Make sure the tuniing is in line and i'll bet you are happy with the results.

lol i don't weigh 400 lbs or have speakers in my car! I just got that weight by putting the car on the scale there in HRP, but i don't know if i did right but or if it was working right, but the numbers there said 3900 and that did seem a little odd to me also!

Your car cant breathe. You need to get headers and an LS6 intake manifold. That cam isnt doing anything for you because there is no flow. Fix that and drop some weight and your set.
