Default Come one, come all....00 ss vs n/a & 100 shot 5.0

Normally I do not do this, but since we are friends (steve and me) I want everyone to place thier friendly bets on who wins if the raods stay dry tonight....

Details: First race: 25 roll me n/a steve n/a
Second Race: 25 roll me juicin Steve n/a
Third Race: 40ish roll (my second gear) me juicin Steve n/a

first race i think the SS will take u out pretty good
second and third race with u spraying him should be pretty damn good since u both trap about the same mph. Good Luck

Here's another detail...

When Andy ran that supposed 13.5 @ 109, he had also raced one of our other friends. This guy has a 93 M6 Z28. 3.23s, cold air, pulley, long tubes, loudmouth, and a slipping clutch. The race went from a dig and it wasn't even close. Matt (the kid with the Z) pulled Andy and he wasn't even close to catching up. The kicker is -Matt's Z only went a 14.0 @ 100 at OUR track with the exact same setup. This means that where ever Andy runs his car, something is way off.

So he had the same mods with 2.73's and he was running a 75 and he lost to a 14.0 @ 100 LT1.

Andy, I hope you can clear that up because this is all we know...

no matter how many times I explain it no one ever gets it haha....ok...here goes

when I raced the lt1 I was spraying 75 shot on a cold bottle (shitty pressure). I had a bad launch and he actaully didnt kill me that bad, i brought back a little ground. Also in that race I did not spray until I hit 2nd gear, and with the 2.73s, it was a little while longer then the current 3.73s. Ok...with the 2.73s and the 75 shot, at the track it ran 13.6 at 106

now with the 100 shot, I ran 13.5 (2.4 60' ) at 109.5. This was with a run with a low pressure empty bottle. I am not making excuses just stating the basic facts as how a nitrous kit works. Does that help?

Off the bottle, I'm not worried. With the bottle, I don't have a clue. I don't mind losing - you gotta take the good with the bad!

Another thing Andy, you seem to forget I was there when you guys raced. I flagged you guys in the middle of the highway. I saw what was going on

But yeah, it'll be a fun night!

I feel your pain man, i have a buddy with a 04 GT ( just got 4.10's and welds with drag radials) and he thinks that he can beat me with a 100shot. Last time we raced at the track i barely beat him cuz i was at 700psi (needs 1050psi) so it was WAYYYY rich, and now that i got the heater fixed, he still thinks he has a chance. I guess he just doesn't understand nitrous

Andy needs a bottle heater. It's pretty cool now at night in PA, so he still might have bottle problems.

Gonna try and get this on video too. Again, I'm not sure how it's going to go either way.

For comparisons sake:

My car made 303.5rwhp and 319rwtq bone stock. I ran a 13.5 @ 106 stock as well. You can see Andy's numbers in his sig.

1st race...got my *** handed to me...we went from like a 20 roll and i was at like 4800 rpms already....he just walked me

2nd one...from a 15 roll if that....I spun all of first...steve pulled me a little(car or so)...and he slowly pulled till top end he pulled another 2 cars or more to fisnish at 3-4 cars......then the story


the po po shows....we pulled into a paved spot in the middle of the interstate to turn around..well its illegal to park in these things....well our luck a cop just happend to be coming, pulls in and gets us both.....after explaining we are going to a rest. to eat and i was not from the area we get away with nothing....it shoudl have been a $105 fine for sitting in that thing.

so in other words I got my **** handed to me and I took it like a man

Very fun night! When the cop pulled in, he's like "are you guys out here racing?"

So yeah, we were very lucky.

Sorry everyone, no camera, so no vid But onto my summary...

I let Andy get the jump each time as I always do in EVERY street race against everyone I run into (he also gave the three honks).

The 1st race wasn't even close. I thought for sure it'd be closer, but the race was over by 40. I kept in til 80 just to add insult to injury

2nd race Andy was by my door and I heard his tires spinning. He was right next to me most of the way through first. I kept steadily pulling on him and probably had about 3 cars on him before I went into 5th. I took it to 130 before shutting down because I wasn't sure if he'd some how catch up to me if I backed off sooner.

We each had one of our friends in each car. Our buddy that was with me was looking back durning the 2nd race counting "there's 1 car... there's 2 cars... there's 3 cars..."

All in all, I was suprised I beat him like that. To ride in his car, it feels really quick as it makes its power down low and is geared lower. This just adds to my doubt of a 109mph trap with 2.73's if I'm only running 108 and I pulled like that. Andy will be getting times at our local track in a week though.

The best part is we're friends, so we can just laugh this off. If I didn't know him, I'd have to give him **** everyday... well, I might still do it anyway...

I'll also add that if we had ran the 40 roll, I really don't think there would have been a different outcome either. I'd guess it'd be just the same as the 2nd run.

Naw, it's not a turd. It will rip the imports and slower cars. Like I said man, it's 10 years technology difference. If you'd race a 91 Z28 with similar mods, you'd pull it. Besides, this now gives you more encouragment to get more stuff done to the Mustang!
