Mods list of people running11's on stock motors!

Re: Mods list of people running11's on stock motors!
The bolt ons are definately needed but dont forget weight reduction. My bird is under 3000lbs but looks completely stock. All the fast ones have converters/better clutches, pulleys, airlids, long tubes, free flowing exhuast, suspension upgrades, etc. All the fast ones are super light. When you have limited hp, you need low weight.

Its vast. My carpet now weighs 10lbs other than 42, k-member and control arms, hals all the way around, no front sway bar, 13lb battery, No cat back exhaust, bogarts/slicks/skinnies took off 90lbs or so, !stock battery holder and overflow,!rear seat but carpeted, !spare/jack, !bumper supports, !heat shields, !ac,!power steering,cf driveshaft, converter is 30lbs less than stock, spool, aluminum yoke,!rear seat belts, and I'm sure I left out more. Next month I'm taking another 120-150 out. Strange brakes, !abs, !power brakes, !air bags, plastic front race buckets, change steering wheel to a light aftermarket one and a true manual steering rack.

Yeah, weight reduction rocks!
Hey, Y2K, gotta a couple real quick questions for ya:
You mentioned your carpet weighs 10 pounds. What carpet are you using?
And also, by overflow, did you mean the radiator overflow reservoir? If so, are there no drawbacks to removing that thing?
Or am I allowed to know your secrets since I have a cam now?

I picked the carpet up at a local interior shop. I removed the interior and fit it. It doesn't wear well but they gave it to me for free. The overflow resevior is also the battery tray. I would say it weighs at least 8-9lbs. I use a 12 oz. catch can now. It works fine.

but i never said big stall either.. usually a 3200-3600 is a small stall in my opinion
