Car is falling on it's face out of the hole
don't really know what the problem is but every time i launch my car falls on it's face, it doesn't start picking up power until after 3 grand. i think that one of my probs is the stock 3.42s i have a set of 4.10s that i will put in if i ever get off my lazy *** . just lookin for suggestions... thanks!!!

from what ive read the stock maf is good for 500ish hp and you should have your tuner recomend one for your application and tune it, otherwise it'll do more harm then good.
but if u really want us to help figure out the problem u have to go into more detail.

Did the car hook and bog? If the clutch was slipping it wont cause it to bog. If so then it is definately not the clutch(although the stocker will not hold up for long)
The only way around the Bog is to launce at a higher RPM. The stock clutch, much less the 10bolt, will not hold up to this.
If you are building this car for an occasional trip to the drag strip I would reccomend the Steel flywheel. It will help to store energy and not bog as bad when you launch as well.

my stock clutch and stock 3.42 10 bolt lasted for around 30 runs droping the clutch at 4000 with nittos and the 10 bolt is still together and the stock cluch was still pretty good when i put the spec 3 in
now droping the cluch with a spec 3 with etstreets is not recomended haha

i pulled mid 1.8s with no problem
goes to show how not all cars are created equal
but you will never know untill you try
i did alot of second gear burnouts and 4000 dead hooking clutch dumps its wines a lil but it did that since new
