Ram air lid questions
Is there any difference in air lids for a funtional ram air hoods? Do they both breathe from the bottom of the lid. It does not seem like a very large openning for fresh air.

It depends on what you mean by ram air hoods. All factory lids are the same. The only difference is that WS6's have a raised lower air box in order to match up to the raised air inlets on the hood. You would probably get a better responce in the External Engine section.

Does anyone have anything good/bad to say about any of the hood companies? I'm looking into getting a Ram Air hood for my formula (with the intake) and i wanted the best fit i could get. I was thinking the SLP hood/airbox would be the closest to OEM quality. I'm looking at a fiberglass hood too. Thanks

Bah! It'll be there soon lol...
In all honesty the hood would. The Flowmaster is more for sound than anything. You need to add a cutout on the I-Pipe to gain real hp.
