02ws6 vs 03-04 ZO6 Well here I am again and I still can't beat a damn zo6 
. This time it was actually a sorta real race (on the street). It starts out yet again me going to the local cruise spot trying to hunt down an 03-04 cobra still haven't raced one, and spot this yellow z06. I pace him and give him a little jerk of my throttle(auto here no rev throwing) and he revs back at me we eventually hit a light and try a little stint. I rev to 1grand then the light goes green I floor it and let off the brake as does he and I pull yet start spinning hard (no burnout) and he fads back a little bit to like my door and then we have to slow down for traffic we went about 60mph. He pulls up next to me and says good run wanna try again, I said sure follow me. I take him to the local 1/4 mile spot and there are a few people I know running there already. So I ask when my turn I gotta z06 to run. SO they say line up. I told the guy and we go and proceed to do a burnout. This is why I love my line lock very easy and good burnout. We line up for the flag man(a kid I know) and he sets us off with a wave of his arms I reved up to 1grand again and jumped out hard on him as my car slams 2nd and screeetchs the tires I see outta the corner of my eye my friend on the side with a thumbs up sign. So I look in my side view and see him at my ***(oh my god I could beat a zo6) this time we are about at the 1/8 mile I think he hit 4th and drove right by me this time we are over 100 and by the end his *** was about 1/2 in front of my nose so he had me by 1 1/2 car lengths to me damn almost had him. Soo now I will go and start pricing out converters granted no power gain but maybe I could launch harder and he would not be able to run me down with the lead I have built up. BTW he told me the zo6 was bone stock and he only had it for a week or so and had 7k mileage young kid too. early 20's late teens pretty cool.
