Default 1 cutout in the Y and another in the I

I was wondering if anything would change, as far as my engine staying "happy", if I put a cutout in my y-pipe. I already have one in my i-pipe. Would the fact that there will be a big difference in the distance of the cutouts from the engine make anything "act up"? I'm thinking (and hoping) the answer is no...thanks

What is the point of installing 1 cutout in the y-pipe?

Just for the different sound. I'll probably drive around with just the electric one open because I'm sure the cab noise will be intense with both open. Anyone know the answer to my question?

If you're gonna go with cutouts in the y-pipe, I would suggest just that. Cutouts install two and you'll have the sound of open headers.

Thanks, I talked to gomer about it. I just want to have that open header sound, thats what I'm aiming for anyways. It should be there or close to it afterwards. I don't want to have to move the electronic cutout in the I-pipe so I will just put a manual in the in the Y and run dual cutouts whenever I feel like it. I'll post some sound clips after I get it done.
