Default Coolant???

Its not showing any coolant in the resivoir but the radiator is full because it wont let me put any more coolant in. Also the coolant light came on then went off? Not overheating. Any suggestions???

Thanks....

If the radiator is full you should be fine, the low coolant light is notorious for coming on in the 98-00's to where they didnt even use them in the 01's and 02's, dont quote me on the exact model years but im pretty sure those are right, randomly comes on too, just check your coolant and dont worry about it

Thanks, I just thought that there may be a flow problem with the coolant. When I check the reserve its empty. Hot or cold. Usually I see water on the gauge but its bone dry. If I had a leak in the reserve wouldnt I keep having to add coolant to the radiator? I figured that since the reserve fills up as you add coolant to the radiator that the radiator would be low as well. But its toped off. What would happen if I added coolant directly to the resrve bottle?

add the coolant/water mixture to the reserve bottle fill to the cold mark on the coolant dipstick.

why are you out of coolant?

its a sensor that is located in the passenger side of the radiator, it has cooper leads that get dirty, you can try cleaning them or buy a new sensor for like 40 bucks
hope this helps
