Smaller Exhuast tips, do they hurt performance?

Smaller Exhuast tips, do they hurt performance? If I have a 3 inch catback, and put on 2.5 inlet exhaust tips, will my performance suffer any?
I'm looking at the fasttoys dual outlet tips for my TA.

I have a random technology catback. Sounds great to me, the guy on the dyno said it was the best sounding gm he had ever had on his dyno, lol, hes a mustang guy.

I actually have a soundclip for stock manifolds and I have to send it to someone and they can host it for me or whetever, i'll check into ls1sounds.com
