Default ls1 in a v6 camaro

one of my bosses at work is trying to get me to buy his 98 v6 camaro to put my big motor in instead of the truck. i told him i would if i can without having to do a ton of changes. what all will have to be changed to do it? if i do go that route i would go th400 12 bolt so that's not a biggie...but as far as breaking, cooling, etc what will need changing if anything. help me out here guys please. thanks

Unless he give you a tremendous deal and/or you like working on cars just for the sake of it, do yourself a favor and buy a car with an LS1 from the factory. You won't regret it, and you can imeddiately begin to hotrod without the pain of a conversion.

Aslo, when the time comes to sell, the fact that the VIN # decodes as a V6 came come back to haunt if if you do an engine swap.

Good Luck <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
