I drove the car 35 miles to work today then 35 miles home, after I got home I threw the ET streets in the back and drove 40 more miles down to the track. Changed tires and only got one clean run. The track prep TOTALLY sucked tonight. The last time I went I cut a couple of 1.63 60ft times, but never even got close tonight. The best run is below. My other two runs were in the 11.5's and an 11.48 but the 60ft on those were 1.8 and 1.77. I honestly think the car can run an 11.20 or better with a good track prep and cooler weather. I'll post up the DA here in a few when I figure it up, but I'm sure it was in the 1500 to 2000ft range like last time. Btw.. I want to thank Tony (2bseen) for the nice cold "celebration beer" :chug:
1.71 60ft
7.35 @ 95.3mph
11.39 @ 122.8mph!!

looks to me like with a better 60ft and ideal weather your ride should see 10's...
nice to see some times out of your car and not just dyno numbers :drive:

It was 3520 last time, since then I've taken about 80lbs off the car I think, so that would put it close to 3440-3450ish. I'm going to try and weigh it this weekend again. My goal is to get it to 3400-3350 :judge:

nice runs! I'm in agreement, the mph indicates with a 1.5 60 foot time that a high 10 second pass is attainable (of course without the :secret2: stuff)

when are you putting the MS3 in? You shouldn't have a problem cutting good 60' at the Thunder event :D

I talked to Jason about the cam yesterday. My heads are unmilled and I have enough flycut on the intake side.. but my exhaust may be real close. Joseph is going to do some checking and they are going to get back with me. I may just end up sticking a torquer in there, I don't want to pull the heads again. I have two street car shootouts I want to run before the thunder shootout, so I really don't have time to pull the heads and cut the exhausts. The car is still in the chassis shop for the roll cage, seats, and harness install. Cage should be back from powdercoating Friday, seats will be here Friday also. I've also added some LCA relocation brackets, tubular LCA's, and a torque arm.

Damn! You've been busy lately. Think you can snap off some 10's come the street car shootout?
Oh, did you by any chance ask the guys at the shop what they charge for powdercoating wheels?

The car will run low 10's at the bhamracing race, but I'll be spraying a little at that event  I'm going to pick the cage up Friday and I'll ask them about how much $$$ they charge for wheels.
