car had ls1edit before i put in the 383 assembly, what now w/ hp tuners?
the car had ls1edit done to it by lg when i got it and all i did was install the 383 rotating assembly, .005 bore, so it idles fine and runs smooth just has a few dead spots throughout the 1/4mile, and i wanted to take it to the track this weekend but i didnt want it to not be at the top of its game when i took it out. it feels like with the proper tuning i could gain a full second the way it is having some fuel lag, or maybe the wrong spark advance. maybe i should go in and turn everything above 4000 rpms and .6g/cyl back to 25* max advance. at wot i am seeing upwards of 35 and at partial, about 40. should i step it back? maybe it is firing and then shooting in the gas the reason it looks to be running rich? let me know your opinion. thanks.
